The arcade makes a few dollars in adsense each day but I havent monetized it properly since I had to remove the thumnails next to ads

I have various link trades with other prominent arcades that bring in referal traffic - I have confirmed with the other arcade owners the back links will stay in place

 

This is adsense from july when I had thumnails next to the ads _ Google told me to remove it a month ago so the earnings have dropped off since.. if you can find another clever way to monetize the ads with images etc you will do well - the friendster traffic clicks on anything

why has google told you to remove the ads?

 

I had thumnails next to the ads with a line seperating the image from the ad unit.. classic ad blending. It was against Googles TOS .. but many still do it

@wit - 13000 visitors in the month of September - I didnt load new games on so the traffic dipped slightly.. if you continue to load games the traffic climbs.. I have a 60-100 game pack I can give to the auction winnner.. then you can either collect your own games with flash grabbers or buy game packs from Onarcade

 

Can you put ads above the first set of games under the header?

you get 30k uv a month about !! arund 20-24k of them is from frinedster and your profile or somthing. then 1000 from google to around 200uv orgainc traffic a day about then.

From you site stats, it shows a player joined in March this year, and played 101,808 games?
So everyday he has to play 480 games for 7 months?

 

yes Friendster is growing in the asia pacific region so hopefully the traffic grows with it.. Its simple - I cant gaurentee it

@siteman - Yes, theres quite a few fanatical players that hammer the site daily.. surprized me aswell

@thetruth - not strange at all - Most of the top players played each game several times over to try achieve the highest score - I havent loaded new games since July so why would they come back and play the same game over and over

Its a bit less than I posted in the thread as that was from July - The sites traffic and earnings have dropped off for two reasons

1. I havent loaded new games since July - as you load new games the masses come

2. The earnings was good because I placed thumnails next to the ads to increase the ad blending - Google warned me after 1 year and I removed it - Now the ads are just stuck on the left side of the site without proper ad blending e.g. grey titles etc

If you can optimize the ads the earnings will return

The reason I posted the July stats is to show what the Arcade can do with a bit of love.
