Hi, i want to ask, why everyone are so active in freebies section in DP? I have created a thread that asked people to stumbled my website (in exchange, I stumbled their websites), I wonder why everyone are doing those things? It will affected SERPs or what? And will I get banned by SU because of these spammings with "I like it" button in my toolbars? Or I will get banned by google or what?
Well, obviously, the biggest reason to trade stumbles, diggs, whatever, is to get more visitors to your sites.
This is the point of SU to stumble sites. Every thing is always going to be manipulated. A few of us have come to the conclusion that the stumbles might not count anymore if the referral keeps being DP, so we might have to just paste the URL in the browser and stumble that way in order to block any referral tracking!
The reason is you can get easily someone to social bookmark your site for free. People here love free stuff
Sure that's not a strategy that will work in the long run but you can still drive quite a lot of traffic from SU.
Yeah I have noticed so many people stumbling each other. The stumble traffic does not convert, it just gives you unique visitors.
I think the more stumbles you get, the more likely hood your page will be stumbled randomly by someone else, but I could be wrong.
