Free XML sitemap Generator?

    Hello,

    I want to prepare xml sitemap for my website. In my site have around 9k pages. I want a free xml sitemap generator. So, please give me your suggestions on this.

    Hi,

    I use this one : http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ which I'm very happy with.

    I also bought there paid PHP version, which I can run on my server and configure an automated task for. Every 5 days ors o, a sitemap is created automatically and Google is pinged.

    Well I don't think any free online sitemap generator will create a XML sitemap of website with 9K web pages. The maximum limit in most of the websites are 500 web pages.

    Anyways install GSiteCrawler, its a freeware & will let you create XML sitemap of all the websites regardless of its size.

    I agree with Soolman http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ works great for us! Also try freexmlgenerator.surfpack.com/ we have a client who likes it.

    Hi,

    My first concern is: if your website if only 9k, why do you bother using a sitemap? Natural crawlability will give you better result. XML sitemap happened to create problems with Google bot. I would recommand you to wait what pages are indexed naturally and if you are not satisfied with that THEN only try to direct the spiders with a sitemap.

    Again, this is only my personal opinion.

    xml sitemaps are good however it is only free up to 500 pages if you have 9,000 pages then you would probably have to pay.
