An ad appeared on one of my sites today for: http://freeola.com I haven't tried it out, nor do I intend to, but if I read this right they offer free unlimited webspace even with their cheapest (1p a minute "dial up", no contract) tariff. I've read loads of posts in here where people are looking for free webhosts and I thought this one might be a contender. It seems like you could sign up for the dial up as a backup to your broadband and still get the webspace. If anyone does try it out it'd be nice if you posted a follow up here about it. That's always assuming I haven't got it totally wrong....
Free web hosting is not a good practice especially if you're serious in what you're doing. Good web hosting + domain won't cost you much anyway...
I totally agree, and I don't use free webhosts myself. It's just that I've read loads of posts in here where people do use them and I thought it might be helpful.
Paid hosting is really cheap right now. Paying a bit gets you so much gain and benefits like a proper domain.
