free website design tools?

    Hi,

    does anyone know about any free website creation tools which i can use?Since this is the first time i am thinking of developing a website, i would like to have a free software to practice with.

    I think that the best free/open source tool out there is Eclipse. With the hundreds of plugins it has you can do everything from XHTML to CSS and PHP.
    Also don't forget to play with with Aptana.

    Check coffecup.com they have lots of cool free things such as templates and even a Free HTML Editor.

    It is free and full of features. A word of caution. If you really want to build a good site, knowing html and css is more useful than having a good software. If you know your stuff, you can get away with notepad. These web design software do make your life easier when it comes to managing a site or files.
