I have been selling off all my websites as I'm too busy with my real offline business. This is the last one

I originally built this website for a friend, but, after I made it he decided he didn't want it. I thought I'd run it, but I do not have the time because of my offline business. Site has been up since the 18th of September (last month)

I have not promoted this website at all. I was going to put up a $50 ad on a popular free hosting boards for a month to drive a ton of sign-ups, but, decided against it as I would not have the time to help customers.

I'll sum up all the info in points:

- transfer of www.GetGB.net if free to GoDaddy customers

- gets around 25 sign-ups per day now

- a little over 530 websites hosted and 481 users

- maybe 25 or so active

- 100 - 200 visitors a day to the main website

- Hosting is a custom plan with LiquidWeb.com and fully managed. 50GB hard drive and 800GB bandwidth. They take care of the server day and night and offer real 24.7 support. Tickets get a response within minutes and offer phone/chat support

- used 150GB bandwidth this billing period and around 15GB space

- hosting paid on the 16th of each month

- I just got word from Google Adsense that I can use them as a footer on each user page. Making next to nothing from ads. Maybe $6 this month, but, you will need to advertise the site to get this up. I just got a few large accounts in that are actually using the service

- footer is on the bottom of every user sign-up page. It is just a standard Google Adsense banner. I also advertise in the users cPanel

So its a FREE service that you pay $50 a month to get this to work?

I signed up for this to see what it was all about but i could not get this to work, i got my hosting but the server was dead or the cpanel was a 404

 

Running at a loss. Last month I had no ads on the sites. I added the ads to cPanel and websites this month. Made almost $7. This is because the website has not been promoted. A ad on freewebspace.net is inexpensive and would send many signups

Also, cPanel is having no problems. Maybe you are using your master account login with cPanel?
