Free Web Based Email

    These days these seems to be a lack of decent free based email providers. I am wondering if setting up a free web based email service would be worth doing? If so, I would do something similar to safe-mail, hosted in Holland or Malaysia.

    Any feedback on this ?

    It would be difficult to start up and get going, you're competing with Yahoo, Hotmail, and Gmail which all together have at least 90% marketshare. An unknown site may not get off the ground too well simply because it wont have the exposure of a huge brand behind it (Yahoo!, Microsoft, Google).

    I understand :) I hope to apeal to those people who want more than just a freebie from Yahoo, Hotmail, or GMail. Think of it as Ford and Bentley.
