    Use a registrar like name.com or Logicboxes platform resellers (ie: resellerclub.com, netearthone.com...) that provides free WHOIS protection.

    Most sites hide whois, ovh.co.uk ask you if you would like your WHOIS hidden :)

    With namecheap.com domain registration you get free whoisguard. It is worth the $.

    Register your domain at name.com /namecheap.com, you'll get a free hide of your whois information.

    However if you are a domainer, I'm sure you don't want to hide your whois information, as that will make your potential buyers hard to find you.

    some ccTLDs don't allow to hide your whois information though, like .in.

    Yeah namecheap offer free whois guard, I am not sure if they stay that way when you renew though.

    However certain ccTLDs such as .in, .ca, .us don't have whois protection but either way, you will still eventually have to pay for it.
