ive been recently reading about FTC coming after those supposedly free trial / rebill offers. some blog posts say affiliates are also under risk while promoting these products. most recent hype as all you know, are the ads on porn sites/how to get ripped ads targeting to free trial offers. these have been running on huge traffic sites. if FTC is coming after them, its pretty easy to track them down. im not sure how smaller affiliates (comparing to them) will be effected by this issue? second thing i want to ask is, these offers are really shady, im pretty sure %75 of the consumers either chargeback or cancel their membership with these offers. how do advertisers and the networks react against cancelled memberships, does the affiliate still get paid? never worked with these before, and these questions are blurring my mind, even though its tempting. would love to see what you guys, promoting these offers, think about it?
