    Can't say I agree with you Kirk.

    Firstly, the trial is free.

    Secondly, the software itself won't break the bank.

    And thirdly, I do agree that good quality content is neccesary, but why not have good quality content *and* Happar to help boost your site? ;)

    Happar is not very good, i should know because i bought it.

    For a start its all ioncube encoded so you cant change much, its content managment system isn't very good, for example wordpress's is much better, yes it has loads of features, but when you put it all together its really basic, and nothing has been focused on and you can do better spending the money on getting someone to code you a custom site yourself.

    The update system doesnt work properly and requires FTP (!!) access to a script that already has access to the filesystem to update. - i sent an email a week ago about it but still no reply so their support is not good so far.

    Also, it is a surefire way of getting your website banned from search engines, you still need loads of unique content for it to work, defeating the purpose of the scraper. Anyway, the way it scrapes information and displays it is scrappy and is like the worst cut-n-paste job ever - more akin to what spammers would send you to fool the spamblockers than real content.

    I don't usually comment on software i've bought but this was not up to my standards. Maybe the update is better but their update system doesn't work for me so i don't know.

    Please, do try it, you'll see what i mean.
