Hello Everyone, I'm new to the forum and fairly new to internet marketing. I've been trying to use free traffic generators like Traffic Swarm, Instant Buzz, Free Trafic Bar and list builders like ListDotCom, List Joe and a couple others. My results have been pretty dismal so I was just wondering if there are some members with more experience than I have who might be able to tell me if I'm wasting my time with these methods or am I just doing something wrong or not using the right ones? Unfortunately my friend, you have been wasting your time. I used to use traffic swarm, webmasterquest, and a ton of other ones lined up in multiple browsers and manually click through the sites. Then i moved on to Auto traffic exchanges and let the pages rotate while I was sleeping. I got tons of traffic but the quality was so poor that I only made one sale for about 50 hours of work. I suggest posting articles in forums that link to your site. Also create a blog for promoting your site. Good luck.
Hear Hear! That's some sound advice there. I started a blog for one of my sites and actually doubled the traffic in comparison to last January. Relevant content that people can use in your blog is the best way to go. JigSawMan
You could submit your links to link directories and articles to article directories. see my sig for 1 site offering both of these services. Remember if you submit articles create unique quality content, if your articles are really good they might be reprinted on other peoples website. Why is this good ? Because you can add link back to your website in your articles and when people reprint your article on other websites you get your link inluded for free into the same website.
