free top quality, non reciprocal directory list

I am trying to maintain a list of top quality, non reciprocal SEO friendly directories. I am working on it now. It sounds that it will be a long way to go before I can reach 500s.

Anyway, you can have a look, add your own directory instantly and review other directories and give me feedback whether it is worthy to continues to work on it or not.

My suggestion is that you review the sites before got listed. Of cource if you want only free directories and don't want your list to be flooded with spam.

Some of the directories in your list are reciprocal ones. They wont accept any submissions w/o reciprocal links.

That's the beginning of a good list, there were a couple of nice directories in there that I hadn't seen before.

 

My suggestion would be to try and evaluate the quality yourself - if you want remotely accurate results. Why I say this is because in most cases there are only two ratings you will get.

1. A five star rating from the website owner.
2. A one star rating from a competitor.

Thus, your results will not be very accurate.

Call me a cynic - but that's the most accurate way in my opinion.

 

That is possible. That is why I have two types of review there. user review & editor review. editor review weight higher than a user review. Without a editor's review, a directory can max reachs a 2 stars with all 5 stars ranking from all users. But a directory with only review from editor will not get a higher ranking neither.

I am still thinking a better way. I will appreciated any suggestions.

 

I think if an editor reviews the ratings the system will work better. Also giving the editor a greater weighting will help too.
