You may already have faced this - you are in trouble if you have anything upwards of 5 social profiles on the Twitter, Facebook or other social media tools. Having multiple browser sessions does not cut it. For example: @diggie-sales, @diggi-support on Twitter, diggi-face on Facebook, etc. Matters go north in complexity when you have multiple websites to manage across niche. So comes the social media aggregators/clients that help you manage multiple ids and multiple networks. Paid/Limited Free Tools Most tools that enable you to do social networking across networks and ids are paid tools. They can be either available on Web, or on Desktop. BuzzBundle is a good example of desktop tool for doing this. (limited in free edition, only 70% of conversations are shown - making it quite useless) On web, hootsuite.com allows you up to 5 profiles across networks in free edition. There are others in the same territory like socialoomph.com. Completely Free Tools TweetDeck is an example of completely free tool to manage multiple accounts, but it is only on Twitter. A recent free tool that I have been using is Sobees. You can download the desktop tool, completely free of charge from www.sobees.com. There are no restrictions to use the tool, but anything more than 10 is a severe inconvenience with the layouts that are made available to view different networks and conversations. Currently Sobees supports Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
