Free tool to track E-Mails?

    I send out a lot of E-Mails daily, whether it be to members of my teams and downlines or approaching leads. I'd really like to know how many people read them, because I have absoloutely no idea unless they reply. It'd also be useful to know if they click the links within these E-Mails. I feel this would be a great marketing tool, because if I wasn't getting the desired results I could change things etc. I'm using Gmail - is there a tool out there that I can use to do all this? Ideally free. Many thanks :)
