Free to Premuim Only Directory Listings

I am planning to go from free to Premuim. yes, due to lots of spam and irrelevant category submission, i am planning to go for total paid listing.

before that i would like you paid directory owners please give your suggestion & list your site as

I like the idea of going paid only for many reasons if you are going to promote your directory.

My honest opinion though is as your directory currently is I would never pay for a review there. you have banner ads in the header, more banner ads on the left, google adsense down low and more banners way down low.

If you want to go completely paid you need to clean up your site first. in my opinion

 

I would probably not submit my sites to your directory even it's free of charge.

Its always good to have different opinion.
But I think - AdSense are well lad out and does not create a visible nuisance. So I would keep them where they are. In fact Google hawks might also be happy that the site is their partner and might be more lenient when they review it.

Also I would not go for Yearly listings for two reasons --

The idea looks -selling links. So problem---
Most webmasters do not like them.

On the other hand there might be issues of sites being changed/out of them web. In that case, the TOS should clearly state that "If a site changes its nature after getting listed - the admin has every right to remove the listing without notice/refund"

Besides, more sites, more contents.

But all are just my personal views. Everybody have their own perspective of things.

swedal Yes, definately i will remove all the adverts before going into paid listings. One thing if you would like to share, what is your main source of traffic, you are getting good traffic, which is very hard for paid directories & how much roughly we need to spend every month on advertisement.

jhnrang yearly listings, yes quite right, but some webmasters heasitate to pay big amount. as yearly price is less, it atrract more people. what you think?
