I often found that, people working from home doing freelancer jobs. And they admit that, "working from home" is more than the income they earned from their service. Is it true? If yes, then how may I earn freely. Actually I want to make money and want to more about working from home . Can you guide me with your valuable tips, thanks a lot.
let me give you a small secret before you turn to working from home when you work from home, there is no home, it doesnt' make you free from working, it means that you no longer have to work 9-5, you work 24x7 you no longer have lunch at 1, you have it when you get time you no longer have breakfast or dinner at time, you may or may not have it i worked from home for 4 years, but it was literal hell, it was almost like having a prison of mind 24x7 you go to home from office.but from home, where will you go? now i have taken a small room, somewhere a little away and i work there, on computer, there is just 1 room ,1 computer and just 1 chair there, i have no physical clients. and i can sleep now. dont' make the same mistake which i did, learn from mistakes of others my opinion.
Well, to do work from home (freelancer jobs) required some extra skills, because you can face some unexpected problems in work.So person must have full grip on work and must prepared to fulfill the assignment on time, because client need work on time. To start work from home you should open account on oDesk, freelancer.com and other online jobs sites. Pass skills test they needs and first thing you should remember that in start take only one job and deliver it perfect and on time. This will help you to get high feed back, it will start a line of jobs.
Well make sure you have a sustainable size of money to fall back on before you start embarking on this journey. Discipline and Procrastination are often the downfalls of many in this business. You literally have to work 24/7, responding to clients from various time zones. Also, finding reliable sources and people are often the hardest. Say you wish to outsource a process, but making sure that your vendor delivers is another problem. Even so, you can't always rely on just one. It is important to read widely and connect with the right people who can give you valuable advice. Before you throw your money at any courses, give yourself some time to read the reviews before succumbing to the temptations. It'll be good to plan your week ahead. Hope that helps! Regards, Alvin
Thought I would add a few things to the great advice and points everyone else has mentioned... Figure out when you are most productive during the day and make sure you protect that time as its your most valuable commodity. It took me a while to figure out when I can accomplish the most (for me its 2.5 hours in the morning and 2.5 hours after the kids hit the sack) but once I did, I made sure I scheduled everything else around that time period. The other big thing that I have learned is that you really need to respect your own sleep patterns. Too many times I have decided to work until the wee hours of the morning to finish a project or tasks only to find that the following day is ruined due to the lack of sleep. I usually have to nap to try and catch up on sleep and when I am up, I have a hard time concentrating and getting things done. Lastly, and while it has already been mentioned, it's a big one... "Procrastination is the thief of time" Make sure you do not fall in the trap of putting tasks and projects off due to procrastination. The negative affects on your home business are immeasurable. Hope these help! -c
Hello I have question to you. You work in single room with 1 table, chair and computer. Do you feel bored? How many hours you work like this? I have also entered such situation. Though, I worked for 10 months at home. Now taken one room with one table, 1 chair and laptop. Now sure how will it go. Please share your experience and give me some tips? Thank you
You can make Working from home work for you if you can: Be very disciplined and actually "work" consistently Not get distracted by all the usual things going on around the home Decide what time is best for you to be at your most productive and alert, and let nothing but the most dire emergencies interfere with that. Don't let your "work" take over your entire life (this is very easy to fall into at first, but quickly get's old). Setting aside time for your family, personal interests and other normal activities from the beginning will help you to avoid burn-out and prematurely quitting what could potentially be your ticket to a lifestyle of freedom.
It's the hardest part even if you can isolate yourself almost completely. As long as you are in the same building you can't escape completely.
Before start earning you should read more about this , as more you read , more you will learn. so you should learn it first properly. I hope DP is the best option to learn it for free
no, i dont' get " bored"because i love being on internet if you get bored of it, this work is NOT for you. also, for occasions i get bored, i got movie4k.to and youtube.com to keep me entertained. as for how many hours a day i worked- there is no limit, when on office you have fixed hours for work and rest if you are working from home ,you are working for as much time as you are awake, sometimes i got up in the night to do something which i forgot to do, that is why i suggest - TAKE A ROOM FAR ENOUGH FROM YOUR HOUSE, SO YOU CANNOT GOTO HOME EVERY 10 MINUTES in other words, treat work like work with work hours , thats the only way to survive. thats all you need
I do not think I would want to be in freelance...If I had the skills, then I would do a real job, then maybe create some popular scripts or software and sell on the side or something... that would be as far as I would go into freelancing.....
