I like the idea of offering something like a text link in exchange for having someone sit on your site for a while. I am tempted to get a high time to be the 'town drunk' lol. I think you should put your ads in a more visible location though. It would also help if this site had some PR.

This might give other people some promotional ideas too.

Ok I was more than tempted...I am 'Today's Town Drunk'....for now lol.

 

Thanks for the comments, this idea about the text links came to me last night as a way to keep people on the site while giving them an opportunity to get something..

This site is pretty new thats why no PR, I do agree I need better placement of the adsense, I will work on it. Thanks
