Not sure if this falls under Affiliate..however.. what's everyones opinion on starting a "free stuff" website? You lead people to sign up to "freebie" offers and you get a commission from it. Anyone do it? Any stories?
something iv done on and off for a few years now. just starting to get back in to it. took advantage before the classified ads became saturated with spam ads and make a few hundred dollars. hard to find affiliate programs that do free samples etc rather than sign up here and refere your friends sort of thing.
Have you taken a look at anything similar that's already online? Are there a lot of them (if so, they're working for someone!) But of course, competition could be really tough and as previous poster mentioned, hard to find good offers. Doubt you'd receive much at all per transaction either. The one or two similar sites I've seen seem to offer 'free' stuff in dozens of categories - competitions, trials - you name it - and that's probably the only way they can make reasonable money. But trying to manage a site like that on your own, update hundreds of offers frequently, maintain contact with programs etc could be a really tough job for one person. I'd guess - though may be completely wrong - that you'd end up putting a massive amount of effort into it and not get a huge amount in return. Maybe try to come up with something that's a little more focused on just one or two products or services?
Could work, but it'll probably be a tough row to hoe. This is most likely not the best way to make money with affiliate programs, but the decision is yours. Good luck.
i think much can be made from it. but i'll never know, because all these free-stuff websites are only open to US and Canadian residents, and i'm neither of them.
I own many "Free Stuff" websites, incentive websites is what most call them. They are very successful if you find the right way to advertise.
