Does anyone know of any? Specifically, any specializing in underwater sea life, animals. If not free, than very cheap?
    Thanks!

fotolia.com has some great photos that you can often get royalty free for $1 a pic. I source all my images there.

ok, guys, thanks for the info. will check these out. was looking at dreamtime (or something like that) and they have photos for .26, which isn't bad. I also use morguefile.com, but it was offline today.

Wikipedia. Make sure you read the license for each photo, but in general they force people to release them for uses including commercial.

well, if you get a pic off say google images, its not bad if you use it as an image, but if you use it as a logo, you need permission, and you should get permission from the owner if you are going to use it in anyway at all really.

Uh ... if you grab something from Google Images and use it without permission, you can expect to be sued eventually for copyright infringement unless that image was specifically licensed for use by the copyright owner. If you have ads or affiliate links on your site, it becomes commercial use, and the © owner can have a field day.

sxc.hu and stockvault.net are the only 'free' ones that i can think of hand. however istockphoto.com sells stock photography for a fairly cheap price. between $1-$10 depending on the size of the image that you need however, they're based on a credit system and you have to purchase credits in bulk. if i recall correctly the lowest quantity you can purchase at one time is 10. hope this helped.
