    How do I offer it? When I check the free shipping checkbox, it still asks me to supply a postal service etc (this gift is via the internet). I want it to show free shipping to everyone viewing the listing.

    You still have to pick a shipping method. Select "Standard Shipping" or whatever it's called in the drop-down, then select the Free Shipping checkbx.

From the industry will provide the postal service or you call the postal service to ebay.
