Free SEO Tools Good? Bad?

I added some SEO Tools to my site from http://www.iwebtool.com/. After I got them up I read some posts on another forum of how Google is likely to ban sites using this type of tool

Automated tools that check PR links that sort of thing. I am now considering pulling them from my site. Some of the tools like the whois tool and page speed will be fine but what about the PR and Link checkers.

    Looking for other opinions.:)

I haven't fully integrated the text on these tools but you can see what I was going to use at http://www.topwebsitetips.com/Tools/WebMasterTools.aspx

Not sure that it is a matter of using them so much as having it used from your Site or IP.

I think if you are quering Google servers automatically withouth this API thing, you may get banned, and Google has got every reason to do so. So, you better be careful :p

I should probably check with them to see if they are using the api. If they are it should be alright, if not I think I am going to pull them.
