@DragonFire Let's get started with another round SEO advice. I like your speculation forum, it is a good idea and could possibly do very well if you get some high profile people with good information to join. Wouldn't it be great for your forum to be known as the place to find out about secret Apple projects? Let's see if we can't attract some those visitors. Titles, Titles Everywhere- When I first got to your forum I wasn't quite sure what it was about. I would take the first line under the welcome message box and put that in a <h1> tag where it says "the future, today" under speculation central at the top. This will give readers a faster understanding of your site and will help make the part about technology speculation stick out to Google. Even More Titles- This time let's look at the title tags for these two sites. On both you need to get some good search terms into the page title. For example, I would change "Speculation Central-Index Page" into something like "Speculation Central- A Forum for Speculating on Technology, Gadgets, Websites, Hardware and More." This will help you move up the search engines for those terms. Do the same thing on BoyOhBoycott and include some words that you think your readers would search for to find you. Backlink Central- One problem that both sites seem to have is there aren't any links pointing back at you. BoyOhBoycott isn't even in a search engine yet! To make for a quick fix, I would submit these sites to a social voting site. These sites are quick to pop up on Google and provide some valuable links. Digg, Propeller and Simpy are all sites that give quick results. Register an account and submit some of your articles to these. Don't go crazy though, you don't want to raise any red flags with Google. Cut Down on Clutter- If you have the ability to edit the source code on Speculation Central take a look at the source code (CTRL + U on Firefox). See where it has all that javascript about 20 lines down? Google doesn't like to wade through this type of stuff before they get to the keywords you reallt want them to see. Put all that javascript in its own file and then call it within the html design. If you don't know how to do that PM me and I will explain. Hope this information helps your sites out a little bit. If you have any questions please PM me and I will be happy to explain!
@skiper Now if we can get you some business on Google I want you to show me around Hong Kong! I really like your site, it seems to have some good information. Let's take a look at what you need. I would say that you have done a good job thus far. You have good titles that point the search engines in the right direction and your source code for the site is very clean. I did some research on your site and see that you only have one link point to your site. I think that if you add a few links that you would find yourself doing very well. I would say that "Hong Kong Tour" would be an ideal phrase to rank for on Google, and that's what I would search for if I were looking to tour the area. There are only 350,000 results for this phrase so that's not many competitors at all, but I'm not sure how competitive those 350,000 are. The beauty of a blog is the blogroll of links on the side, so the first thing I would recommend is organizing some link exchanges with similar travel blogs. Digital Point is a great place to find those looking to exchange links, but you do want to stick to travel and other similar sites in your campaign. This will show Google that you are important because you have other sites linking to you. Another good strategy would be to utilize the dummy links at the bottom that aren't being used. I would point these to my articles on the site and use descriptive link titles, like the titles of my articles, and use them that way until you sell them or whatever else you may be hoping to do with them. I have touted this strategy a lot as I specialize in social media marketing, but I would also recommend submitting your site to some social voting sites (Propeller, StumbleUpon, etc.). These provide valuable backlinks and carry heavy weight with Google. I hope this information helps you out, please PM me with any questions that you may have about my recommendations.
Hello Betatype, How can I optimize, improve rankings, and generate more hits for my website - http://www.abigarcade.com? Thanks!

Hey man, thanks a lot for doing this. I just know a little bit about SEO and some advice would be great. I run a personal development (i.e. "The Secret", etc) blog at xxhttp://lemonarian.netx called Lemonarian Life, and ANOTHER "make money online" blog at xhttp://lemonarian.com. (I'm not allowed to have live links yet, copy and paste without the x's?) Would be great if you could check them out and leave some advice, thanks. //Linus
@salim Let's go for another round of SEO advice. Your site seems to make the car rental process very easy, so hopefully we can find some more customers to fill those cars through the search engines. Backlink Mania- I probably sound like a broken record if you've been reading my other advice, but I can't stress the importance of backlinks enough. Your site only has one link from other sources, and that's not going to get you anywhere with Google. For a site like this I would highly recommend a reciprocal link exchange program. You can find all sorts of other websites for a service like this, so go ahead and post a bulletin looking for those interested in transportation link exchanges. Some people will tell you that reciprocal links don't work anymore, but I guarantee they do. Set up a page where you can put some links and descriptions and link to it from the front page. Once you start your linking campaign you can see how many links you have pointing back at you by using Yahoo's Site Explorer tool. Just Google “site explorer†to find it. Follow and Be Followed- For a site like this I would also recommend the use of the “nofollow†tag. If you're unfamiliar with it there is an article in my signature that explains it, you can find it under “The SEO List.†For pages that you don't care about the search engine ranking, such as your about page, make the links like this: <a href=â€yourpage.html†rel=â€nofollowâ€>Your Link Title</a> That way when the search engines get to that link they won't give it any credit. This is useful because your site's authority is a limited resource. The less pages that you link to the more important the vote for the pages that you do link to. Time to Pick Some Words- If you're going to make any progress with an SEO campaign you have to stay focused. If I were personally going to be looking for a rental car in London I would search for “london car rental.†Luckily for you this only has about 200,000 entries on Google. Unless its super competitive, which I doubt, you can climb your way to the top with some patience and hard work. Focus on your main phrase that you would like to rank for and then use at throughout your entire site. Put it in title tag, put it in a headline, get all of your link partners to give you links with that phrase in the anchor text. A quick note on links pointing at you: when you have a phrase like “london car rental†you can use variations of it to pickup a few other ways people might search for. “Cheap London car rental†would be a good example of this. Hope this helps and do PM me if it doesn't or if you get a little lost along the way. @Everyone Else I'm liking the information exchange we've got going on here! If you do like my information please visit one of my pages listed in my signature or follow me on Twitter. If you click on my ads I'll even be able to keep the lights on and keep doing this Tell all your friends and keep those sites coming!
Can You suggest me SEO of my this blog to get traffic from search engines h*tp://makingrevenueonline.blogspot.com/
@blu3w4ll If I've learned anything in SEO its how to spot a scraper site when I see it. Naughty naughty. I doubt the fine people at the TorrentFreak blog would be too happy to hear you're posting their content without their permission. Seriously though, I'm not going to give you advice on how to SEO that site because that's not the type of site we want in the rankings.
betatype, you seem a very nice person to have some of your time for helping others, please visit this site too: http://www.tutorialsroom.com Thank you.
