I got your attention...so I am asking your expect opinions...If I offer free seo related articles, do you think I will get traffic to my site... seo articles would be perfect for my target audience, maybe I will get traffic and linkbacks as well. What do you guys think?
If I understand your post, you seem to have an SEO related site, and you are asking if you offer free articles, will you get traffic?? If I'm not mistaken, getting traffic is a major part of SEO. What am I missing here? I don't think so. The way it works now, people steal content from anywhere they can. I personally would never have a site that has an Articles section. I just put everything into the site as normal pages. In other words, the content is within the site, is helpful, and you don't have to read an "article" to get the info. With me, articles is like being forced to read a book, or forced to read anything.
It will be seo software related - selling software products..and sites do have articles, and yes people steal articles all the time...I say if you cant beat them, then join them by giving away free seo related articles...Just like the freebies section here, people show up all the time, post, take, etc...are you saying if I offered free seo related articles no one would come and get? are you telling me that other spiders/blogs will not visit my site, thus provide backlinking? I hate to bum you, if someone wants it, they will take it, no matter what section of the site it is on.

I am working on that now. I will try to offer value info, and may even mix it up a bit... I am working on the site now, expect to open within 7-10 days. keep an eye on my sig, that is not the site that I am talking about, but it will lead you to the new site. I do not think it will cost me much more to offer unique articles, of course I am not going to create 1000 articles overnight and say here come take them all, it will be overtime, so if you want the newer articles, then you will have to visit the site.
Excellent idea! That should be an efficient way to get traffic. You should attract alot of people because you're offering FREE SEO articles as opposed to paid. Everybody likes freebies.
just Googled "SEO articles" that's 49,000,000 results there...I'm not sure where you'll be among these. Since it's the hottest thing now, everyone's been talking about SEO, what do you have to offer that's so special that people will go to your website and pass on the information? It's free but I believe there are tons of free articles like that. How about actually get that first five spots on Google to prove your SEO and then people will start paying attention? If you are already top five, bravo!
