Awesome, thank you very much! :D

One suggestion. If it's possible, have the submission pages open in a new tab.

If it takes only five minutes to submit to those other search engines, then why not do so? Sure, they won't bring you googles of traffic, but when you are looking to compete, you need to be where your potential customers are.

How many of your potential customers are using the little search engines? You don't want their business? Okay... That is fine... I will take those customers you don't want. While you are at it, why don't you just go ahead and link to my site and give me the rest of your customers too. :D

p.s. I received more than 7000 visitors last year from those little search engines that you don't care about.

Thank you everyone for the wonderful comments and rep. I really appreciate it. Please check back often as I keep adding in new engines as I find them (and/or people alert me to them).

Do we care that a lot of these engines / directories are low PR? Seriously, except for the obvious engines, a lot of these are garbage.

Just a quick heads-up - NONE of these are directories, they are all search engines (some may also have directories attached to them, but I am ONLY focusing on the engines). Many of the engines may be garbage, but the more engines you are in (even small ones) the more potential traffic you may get. You don't have to submit to any of them as this is just a list for those that want to as it only takes a few moments.

PageRank is not the absolute be-all / end-all of determining a website's value in the marketplace.

    1. Any site less than four months old, generally has PageRank Zero, because it is a new site, created since the last PageRank update.

    2. The website may have been created by someone who does not yet know what PageRank is or how to acquire it. Just because the webmaster does not understand PageRank or inbound links, does not mean the site has no value.

    3. Generally, only webmasters even know what PageRank is. If the site caters to serving consumers instead of businesses, then PageRank is pointless if consumers do not know what it is or watch it.

    4. What really measures the value of a directory or search engine for me is not its PageRank, but rather how many people are actually using the resource. (In a previous post in this thread, I stated that I had received more than 7000 visitors last year from those little search engines.)

Real live people should be the real measure of value for a website, and not some link popularity tool such as PageRank. After all, isn't the point of online marketing to get your advertising message in front of the people most likely to buy what you are selling? If some of your target audience is using those itty-bitty websites, then you may be able to reach some of your target audience by having your listing in that location.

If it only takes five minutes to get listed there, how many visitors will you need to justify the cost of five minutes of your time? One? Twelve? If you get one buying customer after only spending five minutes in preparation, it seems to me that the cost of your five minutes is well justified.

Not strictly true! If a site is listed in Google, then it has PR. It may be a PR<1 (shows as a 0 in the toolbar). Google update PR daily internally. They only export a snapshot of that internal PR to the toolabr every 3, 4 or whatever months.
