    Hello,

I just wanted to let all webmasters (interested in setting up a free search engine feed) know that I am offering free access to my web search index which I'm already using on my uppersites.com search engine.

For information on setting up this 100% free XML web search feed, go to: crawlerfeed.com

No registration required. No IP check. No hassle...

Let me know if you need any help setting up the feed.
I'm working on some XSL/t examples that will be posted on the site.

Oh, I almost forgot: You may add your URL to the index using the add url form on uppersites.com

Thanks for your time checking it out.

    Enjoy!

Interesting that so many people are asking on other threads about implementing a web search engine or somehow displaying web search results on their pages and yet now that I am offering this as a free service, nobody replied to this post, though the post has been up for while...

In another thread Free Add URL Service I asked the digital point community to submit their URLs to my new search engine www.uppersites.com. People visiting that thread submitted thousands of URLs in just a few days which made my crawler very busy. The number of submitted URLs is growing daily. I can barely keep up with feeding the spider with the new links.

I am continuously working on the query algorithm, so it would deliver quicker, more relevant and better ranked results.

The XML feed is open. The results are customizable simply by changing the values of some parameters as described on the crawlerfeed.com site. No registration required.

Implementing a new search engine using this feed would be very simple. Anyone having access to a web server or web hosting account and knowing a little bit of web design could do it in no time. I am ready to help with the implementation. Countless ready-to-go PHP and ASP examples are freely available online to help webmasters coding a script to display the search results.

Monetizing such web search site could be done by adding a simple Google AdSense script or any other PPC affiliate script of your choice.

I am still looking for testers for this free service.
Please let me know if you need any help setting up your own search engine using the free web search feed available on my site www.crawlerfeed.com

    Thanks,
    Kris

That's a nice offer and it's looking good. I think some users will benefit by using your free feed.

Well, the answer is yes and no:
Yes because UpperSites Search is using the same database as the one CrawlerFeed is giving away. And no because the feed is not coming from other search engines. I use my own crawler to gather the data...
