I'm planning to release the proxy list script I use in one of my sites - http://proxyserverinc.com. However, I'd like to get a review on the features of this script. The script has template system and therefore, I'd like to focus mostly on the feature areas (but theme related ideas are also appreciated). Im not sure what features you could add, I take it you wrote the script for this site Out of all the proxy lists I have submited my sites too this one stood out the most for me, so i think your doing somthing right , how much are you going to sell the script for? Ross.
Thanks Ross, I haven't really thought about the price yet but I had a quick look at similar scripts and I'd say the price for a single domain will be ~$19 and ~$69 for unlimited domains. But I'll work one the price later. Maybe I'll start with a discount for DP members but that's when I release it. The thing is I really want to make some USP here. If anybody has really faced issues on submission, like bulk submission, etc, please let me know. Proxy owners can specially help by sharing what problems they face in all of the existing proxy lists. That way, proxy owners can get some plus points and I get my USP .
Its a pretty unique script so I think youll make a good few $$ from selling it. Pm me when your ready to sell it and ill more than likely buy copy.
i like your script, i always submit my sites and submission process is really fast and never had any problems. if you plan to sell, i will definitely wud love to buy a review copy and give honest review
Thanks guys.. I guess I should start working on the finishing part. Also, any idea on how I can sell/ host the script. I can make a small site to sell this script but I'd rather not waste time on making another small script for selling this. If there are free scripts out there to host/sell scripts, please recommend a few.
