    Namecheap offers them free for the first year, and so does name.com

    name.com and namecheap.com offers free who is guard. It's not valid for first year. You can use this feature for each year(if they don't change their policy).

    Yes, NameCheap offers free private registration for the 1st year .. You can use coupon: INDIANSUMMER which will give you $8.81 domain name registrations :)

    name.com offers domain with whois for free. I don't think there's limit for that, but when you renew it don't forget to select whois. It will be auto deselected.

    I'm using Name.com and they offer free private whois with their already cheap domain name.
