Free Privacy Policy Generator

With the recent change in the Terms and Conditions to Adsense publishers, and the fact the all publishers now have to have a Privacy Policy on their sites, I have developed a simple "Privacy Policy Generator", where you can quickly create policies for your websites.

It takes less that 15 seconds to create your Privacy policy with this generator. Though no one knows how seriously Google will act with sites who do not have a privacy policy, is it worth taking the risk of not having one and then being ultimately banned from Adsense ??

Hope this is of some help to those members here who may not be sure how to go about creating their own privacy policy.

Thanks this will be a really big help. One suggestion. Maybe offer the finished product in html form just copy and past instead of having to view the source code of the frame? Just a thought

Thanks for the suggestion 313i - I have just modifed the code, so that now you can grab the HTML for your Privacy Report, as well as simply viewing and copying it as readable text.

hey Alex..can I put a portion of your privacy policy on my site and also add some of my own policies? or simplified...can I edit the privacy policy you are providing.

 

Krisdude, you can modify or make as many changes as you need to.

I set this up just to provide a basic Privacy Policy that will mention Cookies/Web Beacons,etc so that users of Adsense can quickly create a PP and keep in line with the changes in the TOS of Adsense.

You can make any changes you need to at all.

I just hope that people find this a useful tool and it helps them with creating the Privacy Policy.

Like many here on DP, I have learnt a great much from other users, so at least, in this sense, I can now offer something back.
