I stumbled across this deal and found it too good to pass up on. The directory in question is PR4, is in the Alexa top 15k, and receives over half a million unique visitors per month. Anyway, they're offering free premium submissions through 2008. It normally costs around $600 for the service. There's no credit card required, so I'm assuming they are gambling on the fact that users will find the traffic to be worth the price and subscribe when the offer is over. Fair enough. If you don't mind, how did you not find it useful? I mean it is a free premium listing. I submitted a couple of my sites, too early to tell if it's helping, but I don't see the harm in it.
Hah. No. It's not a joke. Are you outside of the US? I'm guessing that could be the reason. Offer is only valid for certain countries.
Listing cost $700, even yahoo do not charge that price. I also get redirected to smileycentral. Why do not specfiy the country so some of want waste our time.
I apologize for wasting your time. I've edited the original post. Also it's a PREMIUM listing, there are plenty of high quality directories that charge $700+ for a premium listing.
