I am a writer, and a client has asked me to write him press releases containing a live link and anchor within the text itself, though he knows that many PR publishers will not allow this. I am aware that several will allow it with a fee, but I doubt he is willing to pay $30 a piece for a couple of backlinks, plus my fee. I was wondering if any of you savvy marketers know of some good free PR sites that will allow a hyperlink to be placed within the text? It wouldn't need to be excessive, just once with the website name within a legitimate, 500 word PR. If this is in the wrong section, I apologize to mods. I wasn't sure if it was best for SEO or link building.
