Free Plug In To Add A Forum ??

Is there a free plug in which will enable me to add a forum to my website ?

 

I'm interesed for this plugin too

 

I know there are some that cost

However I just want a basic free one

 

You might want to look at BBPress, this is free and has WP integration. I use IPB forum software and link from Wordpress, but most other forum software requires some kind of bridge.

all will require work. phpbb, bbpress, bbpress is designed to work with vbulletin but I didnt like it when I was using it. They might have done better since then though, and probably have. I like and use phpBB and use plugins to hook my blog into it. http://www.rss2phpbb.com , and can use rss feeds of board to hook into a blog widget.

 

There is also simple forum which is a wp forum plugin.

 

I suggest BB press as well - it is best to integrate with WP.

 

Simple Press Forum works pretty good and doesn't require BuddyPress. Just uses a regular Wordpress installation.
