Free Ping Tool - Ping over 90 sites one submission!

Thanks for the link. However, I read somewhere, that, if we ping often (or ping the same url more than 3 times max) then our sites will be banned.

 

There is one issue with your tool. let's say if we enter something wrongly then the page refreshes and says we made mistake on somewhere... at the same time all entered values are gone. so we need to enter all the details from the beginning. That should be fixed.

dpsubi1 - I think if you a abuse a particular ping a site you may get banned from that particular service, but I have never heard of anyone getting banned from a search engine for doing this.

buddynest.com - This can be used for any site you can think of. I am not sure how effective it would be to ping a forum as I have never done it myself and most forums (at least from my understanding) get spidered pretty regularly. It may be good to do every so often and then check your server stats to see if the bots are coming. It certainly couldn't hurt.

Keep checking back as we are adding additional features to the sites very often. Now, once you have pinged your site you can click on 'more info' to see a tag cloud of the most prominent keywords on your site.

Thanks, great tool. One thing what I don't understand. Ping was succesful, but it doesn't show in Google blog search...is it because it's a new site. I am running self hosted WP. But I got only one site to google blog listings...and then it disappeared from there.

e30drifter - It should not matter whether it is a new site or not. It think it more likely has to do with competition for your particular subject and exactly which keywords you are checking when searching in googles blog listings. Not 100% sure on this, but I would guess that is the case.

I am able to use this with Internet Explorer, but not Firefox. I get the "cannot read captcha" message when I use Firefox. Can I fix this?

That is strange. We tested in FF and IE without a problem. Try refreshing the page and then typing in the site info and captcha. That should do the trick.

I tried typing everything in again, but still got this message "( Your entered Captcha Text did not match the Captcha Image text! )"

It works when I use IE though.
