Free phpLD Tutorial --Random Image display

    Hi all,

    wrote a quick simple tutorial for any webmasters using phpLD.

    This works for all versions....feel welcome to apply it to your site (can be used for random displaying ad banners as well)

    Thats really cool script LeopardAt1.

    Its more useful for random displaying ad banners at directories homepage for our advertisers :)

    Hey, I just realized that it can only display banner images of the same advertiser only. So if an advertiser had 3 different banner's, you can rotate those banners using this random image display. However, if you have three different banner's of three different sponsors, then this random image script will not properly be able to link and differenciate between the banner ads they are displaying.

    thanks for the tutorial, but may i know how it works in real world? may be a demo will help? i can't seem to understand the tutorial i.e. displaying random image??

    The opening statement of my tutorial:

    In this quick tutorial, you will learn how to add a small yet noticable random image display feature to your phpLD (works for all versions). For an example of this script live, view the upper right hand corner at our winking Ripen Apples!


    Click around my site, and keep an eye on those apples, depending on your monitor resolution , you should notice they randomly change each page your browse.

    ahh, i see. cool design. would consider discount for me? i mean a design on that phpld templates. i just need the phpld 3.1 design.

    when i get some more time perhaps---but right now i'm focusing on my directory and other web sites.
