Hello guys, I'm currently running a small camera review site and was looking for a free pre-made open source script where visitors may rate and add comments on different items that I put out for review. Anyone know of something like this out there? Thanks a ton and regards! Jay
Some of the CMSes may have such add-ons. I built a website around pligg -- an open source implementation of the concepts behind Shoutwire and Digg. It is available from http://www.pligg.com/ You could configure the script so that all articles are automatically "published" and you could restrict it so that you are the only one who can submit articles. But, you could allow anonymous voting and comments. I have not played around with integration into an existing website. But, it would certainly integrate as a section and, perhaps, as the entrance page.
I am a bit of a dumbo when it comes to php but i am slowly picking it up. Will i need to learn more in order to install pligg? Thanks
