Free PDF Creator?

    Are there any legit free PDF creators available? I want a program that you can create a PDF from scratch not just convert files.

    or if you need something more graphically flexible, inkscape exports to pdf, too.

    The best I've found is PDFCreator, it's open source and doesn't spam you with adverts. The PDF it creates seems compatible and I've used it for printing from programmes when Adobe Acrobat Professional (at high cost) hasn't managed to produce anything.

    It's windoze only I'm afraid.

    there are plenty of open source pdf creators -- dont use a crippled version of a commercial program because you will get spammed with upgrade ads.
