Thanks mrdesigner, please let me know how it goes and if there are any problems I will be sure to fix them.
24 hours and the system didn't log me out of my machine - security risk. Is there a way I can get it to filter the data using keywords so I can split the bills up without doing it manually? So categories would be 1/2 etc and miscellaneous for the rest with no matches. Edit: Error is fixed btw.
Uncheck the "Remember my login" box when you login if you do not want it to store your login cookie. You have to look at your current PayPal descriptions from the list and enter matching keywords for your categories. The next time you import it will sort them automatically. So if your PayPal description is "Billy Bob and Friends" you would enter that phrase as a keyword for your category and it will automatically select that category when you import data. PayPal does not categorize your transactions. I know this for a fact since I have used PayPal everyday for over seven years. I even contacted their support staff to add this feature and they never created it, so I created my own. When I provide my tax information to my accountant, I cannot just show one total, I have to show her what I spent money on so she can give me the proper deductions. PayPal search is also very slow, I can easily pull up how much money I have spent on hosting by entering the keyword "hostgator" for example like you see in this screenshot: https://www.funender.com/funizer/images/screenshots/sort_by_name.png
Thanks, and sorry for the late replies for some reason this forum stopped emailing me regarding new replies even though I selected the instant email option.
I may consider distributing this script but perhaps for a high price, like $200. Let me know if you would be interested since this is the only script on the net like this.
