Hey, what kinda thinks you like? FREE or PAID? I like Paid things, because they're always useful. Which one will you prefer? Thanks
Everyone likes free things - whenever someone is giving away free links in BST I'm there like a shot!
In my experience free things are usually more fun, but paid things are typically more useful. This, to me, is the difference between Google and Microsoft.
Yes i also like'em. Neither all paid things are useful NOR all free things are useful. I like both. It depends on what you want.. Like if you want to run a small forum you can just go with PHPBB etc instead of getting PAID VBulletin.
All things being equal, the cheaper the better with free being the best but generally you get what you pay for. IE: hosting, I'd never, ever go for free hosting.
Hello all, Please vote in the POLL and then post why you voted..... I am off to sleep, cya all tomorrow. thanks
I love free things and great deals so I guess my answer is I like both of them...I think I can pick two answers here but on the poll one I am going to have to choose FREE though.
I like free things if they have high quality (lol that is rarely if ever true). But then again you get what you pay for
I would have to choose FREE, as well. But, I guess it would have to depend on what is needed. IMO, when it comes to scripts and software, open-source and freeware can accomplish just about anything a commercial product can do...if you know where to look. Examples: Gimp, OpenOffice, phpBB Unless, you're talking about piracy/warez, which can be arguably considered free. That's a whole other subject. And I definitely agree with Roman. Hosting is something you don't want to skimp on.
I don't agree with you because free stuff comes in handy too Almost every one likes free stuff and so do I. Try to get advantage of all freebies in BST section
It depends for what. If its some very good and very complicated script, I'd honestly rather pay $$$ for it than get it free. Why? The cheaper it is, the more competition there is in the market for that script (for example). The more competition, the less chances of making it big with that. Just my take on things - maybe I'm wrong
