Free Online Movie Sites, Copyright Infringement?

I saw the other day a site that offered free movies online. Now I'm wondering if that site is doing copyright infringement or do they have a permit to post those movies. The site is universalstreamer.com . If they don't have a permit or license what would happen to them.

I think there's a big legal grey area right now with streaming - the content isn't hosted on the site, so they're not "distributing" it (or at least, not in the accepted sense of the term), and current laws are focused on the content "providers" (the one's with the actual files stored locally). If anyone can point to updated legislation ... anywhere ... that has been adapted to factor in streaming I'd love to know ...

You're welcome (though you'd really want to get specific info on copyright laws applicable to relevant territories to get a definitive answer).
