Free Online Logo Maker and Software

Do you know of any open-source logo software or free online logo designer? Please share. I've been looking for some decent tools to make logos but cant find a really nice one.

 

GIMP - its free ( i suppose )

 

I hv come across free favicon creators but none for creating logos as yet, best choice would be to create one yourself using GIMP or photoshop.

I've been using cooltext.com for years and highly recommend it.

 

There are lot of freeware designing tools such as Paint.Net, Inkscape, Krita, Blender and many more. Blender is for 3D graphics animation.

I will say http://www.cooltext.com is best if you know how to use and add good images in background .

 

Cooltext.com has low quality images and output. IMHO.

 

I would have to ask, why open source?

You just cannot beat illustrator for logo design.
