hello, I have downloaded a copy of Norton 360 frm www.isohunt.com and it gives the following instructions for intalling... 1. Unrar, Burn or mount with Daemon Tools. 2. DISCONNECT FROM THE INTERNET! THIS IS IMPORTANT! 3. Run the installer, and run the keygen located in the EDGE dir. 4. Copy the Product Key from the keygen to the Norton Setup then press the I Agree button. 5. Complete installation and finally you will get to the activation, it's important that you are NOT connected to the Internet! Press the Next button. 6. A message box will come up telling you that you need Internet connectivity to continue, just press the OK Button, and then press the Next button. 7. You will get to a part where it's trying to connect to the Internet for online activation, after a while it will fail, this is fine, repeat this step again. 8. After attempting to do online activation two times, it will fail and open a browser window, close the browser window and press that big fat button in the keygen that says "Click Here to Enable Phone Activation!". 9. And if as by magic the phone activation has suddenly been enabled. Press the Next button. 10. Now copy the 36 digit Request Code into the Request Code field in the keygen, no dashes or spaces just one long 36 digit string. Select how many years you want to license the software for, and press the Generate button to get your Unlock Code. 11. Copy the generated Unlock Code to the Norton activation screen, then press the Next button. 12. Enjoy a fully unlocked copy, and naturally DO NOT register this software with Norton, you can now reconnect to the Internet. Now after doing all these steps can I update program updates and virus definitions? Is that safe? Anyone tried that?
well, generally speaking it's never exactly safe to steal products... Yes you can update the DEFINITIONS, but not the program itself I wouldn't think. Be careful when doing things of this nature though, as if you get caught it's usually never pretty, but the chances of getting caught are slim to none, just don't do anything stupid with it, and don't run around telling everyone about it...
Thanks for the reply... well have you trieed this? Also what if they find that my software is not legal.. willl they crash my pc or just disable that software only. Actually I have 2 PCs a desktop and a laptop i want to install that to my laptop running vista but first i installed in desktop for testing... please guide me....
Are you serious? Wanting help and 'guidance' for stealing software. A ban is what you should get, not 'help'
If it is the case... then why these websites exists.... why cant those companies file suit against these website??? Actually I knw very less about these websites..
Why do child porn websites exist? Because parasites will break the law to make money, those like you will break the law to get stolen software. Companies do go after sites like this, it's not their fault that people like you try to get stolen software..
They are getting sued. Google words like torrent website sued and tell me what you see! Also the issue with many of these torrent sites is that the files are not hosted on their computers or servers. Torrent sites simply link to the person sharing the file. The files are not at all stored on the torrent website. That's what the debate is about. All of the big ones do get shut down though
no I agree, this is not the place for help for that kind of material, and no i do not steal software, i am not a software pirate, nor do i commend those who are... it's very hard for lawsuits to stand up, because look at rapidshare for example... they can't do anything about that site because you technically are downloading "video clips" and NOT a movie, it does not mean it's right, nor is it something that should be done, but you all know the way the world works, someone finds a loophole in the law, and everyone exploits it, the way of the world
