Linda Decker updated her guide for 2006. It's free but she has affiliate links in it. Nothing hidden though so it's up to you to click or type. She added an actual web page template but it's pretty ugly and a list of keywords. I always see a lot of people asking how to start out here. There's plenty of people who will charge $50 for this same info as well as for the info here at DP. I know because I've bought quite a few Anyway hope this helps. It's at rockonjigglypuff if you're interested. JJ
Yep. That's it. I actually tried a less popular niche than her example and already made a few dollars with just changing the template to be less ugly. Well what do you know?
I have a question about her guide, as I'm quite new at this. It looks like you need to have an established website and product/service for sale before signing up with the affiliate programs mentioned in her guide? For example, Affiliate Fuel has a requirement where your site must have 2K unique hits before you can sign up with them. For CJ, it looks like you already need a site as well. The problem is i'm not sure what market I want to get into yet. I have a few ideas, but I wanted to explore many options first. Am I misunderstanding something very basic- before I can sign up with programs that offer listings of advertisers, do I have to choose my niche market first, establish a site, and obtain a small client base? Thanks for any help.
This is not bad such a bad idea. I'm going to make a couple of product pages and throw up them on one of my established site, get it into Google fast, and see how it does...
Hi Blimey, Seems most of these PDFs are... Step 1: Read PDF Step 2: ????????? Step 3: Profit Your obstacles certainly aren't insurmountable. You don't need to be selling something. Just come up with some content about something you enjoy and go from there. JJ
Thanks, JJ! I'm so glad I joined this board. Everyone is very encouraging, and now I don't feel so alone just starting out
