    to ALL of your articles!

I launched www.FreeDeepLinks.com the other day, and while I've gotten some decent response from webmasters here, most have come from a content network I work with. I'm not too terribly far under 500 article link submissions right now... please help me reach it. :)

I'd like some thoughts on the plan for the directory too if you're willing to share:

    1. I may change the color scheme slightly, and when I figure that out, I'll definitely work out a better logo.

    2. Right now I'm promoting it to webmasters and writers as a way to build free one-way incoming links to their article pages (unlimited numbers are accepted, and they can be submitted to multiple categories btw... just within the rules on the submission page). Eventually, the plan is to market towards actual readers instead... trying to serve as a place where people wanted to read about a subject can come to search for articles all across the Web, w/o business sites, sales pages, and other garbage that they find in search engine results too often. So the plan is to help drive traffic back then, through the directory, to the sites submitted. Do you think that model has potential? I'd like to hit 2000 articles before I do that marketing focus switch. Should I do it before then? (Just don't want people looking for articles when there aren't many there yet.) Or should I wait until there are even more than 2000?

And a more general question: Since I'm looking to compile links to, and descriptions of, articles all across the Web, am I technically "allowed" to add links to articles on my own... just writing a one sentence description about them and including their link? I don't see how it could be a problem... actually, every network I've worked with encouraged us on some level to link to outside sources, and we certainly don't need their permission... but is there any problem with that?

    Thanks!

    Jenn
