yes it is free.. do you have to pay anything for a link ??
nope, no $ is spent, therefor its free

please don't post this if this is all your saying.. Don't submit if you don't want to, I don't really care if you don't list your site.. The link is free and the Dir will have good traffic and PR in time..

    thanks

Free = You do not need to do something, in Your directory we need to place link on our site, so for me is this not free, anyway good luck!

It's not a free link. The need for a link back means it's not free. It's not a matter of opinion, pick up a Websters.

Do you think it would be allowed on free directory lists?

There is an option for a free no-follow link, but it is requiring recipricol. I get the following error when trying to submit:

Invalid URL.The URL could not be validated. Either the page does not exist or the server cound not be contacted.A link to http://forum.vbulletinsetup.com could not be found at the specified URL.

Just a quick piece of advice...you can take it or leave it. It will be extremely difficult to get submissions (for cost or reciprocal) into an empty directory and no skin. My first impression is someone putting up a directory in 10 minutes, dumping categories into it, and trying to make a quick buck. You would have been better off purchasing a domain about grapefruits with some PR...at least then it would be somewhat justified. Why don't you start out by accepting quality websites (set a PR guideline where you only accept PR4+ or whatever) for free and once you have become established...then start charging or requesting a reciprocal. But you already sold directories in the past so I shouldnt have to tell you this.

Also, here are some definitions for the word "free" for you to consider (coutesy of dictionary.com):

    1. not subject to special regulations, restrictions, duties, etc.:

    2. given without consideration of a return or reward

    3. not subject to rules, set forms, etc.

So just because it does not cost anything does not make it free. By requiring a reciprocal link you are essentially giving us a link with consideration of a return link...which by definition, does not make your directory free.

don't submit.. I'm fine with that, I was just giving the offer out to anyone who wanted their site listed....

this directory is free as in you don't need to spend a dime to place a link

you don't even need to add a link back = free.
if your worried about the nofollow tag, then you can give a backlinks.

I've ran a few directories b4, I don't need anyone to define what I'm listing..

    Thanks

Great! so when will you be adding the listings?

NO-FOLLOW should only be used when they Add their sites as "reciprocal" then they decide
to remove your link while expecting to stay in your directory.
I have mine set that way in all my directories
If you remove the reciprocal then you get "no follow" BUT
if you offer FREE then you should not do this as YOU offered them a free ride.

    thx
    malcolm
