Free Money in my PayPal? What Game Is This?

    Dear friends,

So a few minutes ago, out of blue I receive a notification e-mail from a total stranger that he's deposited $0.10 in my Paypal account.

As I have no idea why he's being so kind to deposit a few cents in my Paypal I avoid clicking the link contained in the e-mail, but open a separate window and key in Paypal url.

I log in and, truly enough, his transaction is there. But it's $0.10 deposit and -$0.10 processing fee, so my net gain is zero.

So my apparently kind stranger turns out to be offering no free lunch. Still, as I have no idea who he is I am still wondering what is the game going on...

    Any ideas please?

I assumes what happened to you :)

I think you've a digital product selling site [ebooks or else] May be the person tried to hack your download page and sent you 10 cents instead of real price of products.Once i got 1 cent in the same way and after some investigation i found that the man hacked my digital store.Beware of such dirty thieves :D

I have seen ten cent offers and lower here at DP so it might be a sent on error as arjun316 suggests [IMG]

Be careful. Seems like a scam with a little sophistication added.
