My personal favorate for boosting web traffic is just by word of mouth advertising. Meaning FB, twitter, email forwarding. Actually now that i think of it, i probably get at least 50% of my traffic from emails being forwarded. Nothing better than someone referring someone else to my product or even just my email list!
Banner Exchange and Traffic Exchange do not work these days. Video marketing rocks if you doing it in legitimate way. YOUTUBE will ban you if you attempt to SPAM (marginally )
Thanks guys,All very usefull tps.I am completely new to the entire thing so its deep and heavy stuff to 1) get the knowlege & 2) impliment as I learn...At the moment Im trying to optimise the SEO settings but I understand that will only get me so far and the competition out there is fierce in the UK Payday Loans market.Its kind of crazy to think, when you've got a great product on the web, its like having a shop on the high street that no-one knows is there, gotta get that traffic or its fruitless!!!
There are tons of Facebook groups out there for all genres. Almsot all of them have a post in their message boards with the tagline "FB email Contacts" here you will find thousands of people emails in a huge list. You can pull those and start mass mailing them. I have done this to market different games in the past and have had very good results.

getting link with other site in your niche is another way to get traffic for free.getting links with other sites in your niche is also good for SEO, especially if you manage to get links without the famous nofollow attribute.
