Use social networks to spread the word - Like share it with your friends on facebook, myspace, etc. Then post to your twitter account. (You should have already twitter account established, if you post just this message in a new twitter account, that is not much of use).
Social bookmarking helps. Participate on social bookmarking sites like digg, delicious, stumbleupon, reddit, slashdot and mixx. Article marketing also helps. Just make sure to write quality of articles and make sure to put some of your targeted keywords in your articles then submit it to lots of article sites. Remember, submit it on the right category.
Article marketing, Social Media and having a very good website with a lot of high quality content and keywords so search engines will pick you up. Optimise for long tail keywords too!
Technically, online marketing is free. One can do SEO all by himself. A few social bookmarks a day, some directory submissions, article writing and submission, and link exchanges can all be done for free.
A great way is to start at Social Networking; if you're a public and social kind of person, you'll become very successful.
I think everybody is on the same page around here. I find it very useful to have quality articles, I wouldn't just outsource through odesk or something... but you could....
