Hey every one, I used to be an Amazon affiliate for 14 months or so but recently sold my small network of Amazon websites to focus full time on my web hosting company. While I was an affiliate, I tried a lot of different things to market my website. But I found one thing, to work really well and bring a lot of targeted traffic to my sites and as a result, make me a lot of money. This marketing strategy is white hat and very simple. I'm sure many of you use a similar strategy already but I didn't see it mentioned here so I thought I would make a how-to guide for any one interested. Step 1. Do a Google/BING/Yahoo search for terms related to your niche or online shopping in general. For example, search for: "discount shoppers forum" "frugal shoppers forum" "money saving forum" "dvd fans" "cheap shoppers forum" "online shoppers forum" "clearance shoppers forum" "coupons forum" Step 2. Join as MANY forums as possible. It may be a hassle at first, but join a lot. I signed up for 25 or so. Step 3. Write HELPFUL content about shopping smart and saving money. EVERY ONE on the forums you join, has one thing in common...they want to SAVE money when they shop. Write about free coupon sites, write about checking prices via price engines. DO NOT SPAM in your content. Write truly helpful content and articles about shopping and saving. DEVELOP an amazing reputation at these forums, for being helpful and honest. Step 4. Include links to your websites in your signature and OCCASIONALLY in your articles. An example link would be "Find affordable DVD players at !@#$$## " This may sound simple but it works great. The first few weeks, you wont see too many results but after you start writing great articles and you get HUNDREDS of people clicking on your threads and reading your signature, you will see amazing results. This works well because it is very targeted. The people who are reading your articles, are all CURRENT SHOPPERS. They are on shopping forums because they are ready to shop and want to know where to shop for affordable items, you can give them an answer! I hope you find this basic but effective guide helpful! Thanks, Mark McCoy
