I took some time for myself and banged out some code last week, and thought I would give back to the community, sharing what I hope to be goodness. For awhile now, I've been collected data on malicious IP addresses. Such data includes: Comment Spammers Attempted SQL injections PHP, CKEdit, and Wordpress vulnerability scans Brute force attempts ... and more ... As of today, there are 32,356 IP addresses in the database of attackers. To possibly help the community, I've built a basic service for other webmasters or server administrators to use in blocking these known individuals. The service is free, of course. All I ask is you don't bang on the box too hard! I've written a post on how to use it on my site: Malicious IP Checker Companion If you have questions, comments, concerns, or improvement suggestions, drop it in the comments over there. Hope this helps!
