Hopefully the tool owner will be also declaring how he is getting the results to know if the stats are reliable.

You could get a copy of the free version of WEB CEO as they also have a keyword tool included. The site of SEO BOOK also have a decent free keyword tool.

    Thanks Janna,

But isn't that an overture scraper? If Overture goes down than so will the seobook tool.

The free version of the word tracker tool just gives 100 results.
    The paid version gives thousands.
Alot of people use one or the other so it must have some value.

Why not just use the free tool on this very site?

Well, it has a captcha thing on it, so if you want to bulk copy a load of info into a database and mine the data, it won't help much.

I haven't heard that the Overture tool is going away. I used it recently and it worked as good as it ever does.

there is sio much more to KW tools...i mean i can list you 1000 sites where you can get a list of KWs...but addition information is what we need ,)

so..you either use google adwords online (w/ your account) and check search volume, competitors...or use KW Elite or similiar. Because you want to know CPC and rankings and competitors....otherwise any random list of KWs is quite useless. My $0.2
