I have had a free PS2 Xbox Ipod from those sorta offers, not all are BS, just takes some effort to get referalls.
I would also vouch for freepay, aka gratis, as I have received a mac mini ($600 value) and a 60 GB video ipod ($400 value). As someone mentioned, most people want something TOTALY FREE, and are unwilling to get past the portion of the process where they have to complete an "offer". In my situaion I was able to parlay my "offer" into a real life need. For one of them I signed up for Blockbuster online's video rental service that I was going to do anyway. For the other I signed up for an online slot machine type site that had a $10 minimum deposit. I played 3 card poker for a while and hit a big bet and cashed out $90. But that said, I am currently waiting for the xbox 360 that I completed back in November. I know there have been inventory issues with the xbox 360 and according to the site they should be delivered in the "March timeframe". The problem is that it had said, Janury, and then February, and here we are at the end of March. I'm just wondering when I'll get it. Or if they decide they've sent out enough, its time to close up shop.
http://www.freeipodguide.com/ is the place to go to find out about the legitimacy of each company, and which offers are easy etc. My little brother has gotten a lot of stuff from those companies.
